New patient flow for Lutheran’s Cardiac, Neuro IA Alerts

Starting Sunday, Dec. 1, the red line officially changes for Lutheran's Cath Lab & IR.

Please reference the map below, identifying the red line changes and designating the new patient flow for Cardiac Alerts and Neuro IA Alerts. Some important items to note:

• Bunny suits will NO longer be required to enter this space. The racetrack around the procedural rooms is unrestricted.

• There are NO changes to the red line status in the OR. The new red line will be at the fire doors on the west end of the Cath Lab / IR racetrack as shown on the map.

• As a reminder: With an emergent-alert patient coming to the lab or a code in the departments, patient care and safety are our first priority. Time is muscle, and we want to expedite transporting the patient into the lab or responding to the code.
