New on-call scheduling platform to launch in December

QGenda will be implemented in Intermountain Health’s Peaks Region in mid-December. It will replace Amion and MDSync as the region’s on-call scheduling platform, enhancing operational efficiency and streamlining scheduling processes. Full integration with Epic for secure messaging will follow in April 2025.

Why QGenda?

  1. Epic integration: Embeds communication tools in the electronic medical record – full integration in April 2025

  2. Enhanced accuracy: Minimizes scheduling errors

  3. Schedule consistency: Enterprise opportunity to enhance the scheduling platform and provide consistency to aid in regulatory compliance

Implementation timeline

QGenda will go live as the scheduling platform on Monday, Dec. 16. While Amion and MDSync might still be active, physicians and APPs should refer to QGenda for the most updated schedules following the go-live.

Additional information will be shared in the coming days. Thank you for your support as we continue to find ways to streamline our processes, create efficiencies and improve your experience working in our hospitals.
