Good Samaritan selects 32 retired physicians to join Emeritus staff

Good Samaritan chief of staff Kate Lazar, MD, and the MEC have selected 32 of the hospital’s exemplary retired physicians to join the hospital’s Emeritus Medical Staff.

As Emeritus members, they are invited to attend all medical staff events and celebrations, as well as all CME courses that are of interest to them. They also are welcome to participate on hospital committees as non-voting members.

“As chief, it’s my pleasure to recognize these exceptional physicians for their time and sacrifice during their tenure here with invitations to join our Emeritus staff,” said Lazar. “Each of these physicians has shaped the care we provide and the culture in which we thrive.”
