Details for St. Mary’s March 30 connection event

Hike to Liberty Cap on Saturday, March 30

Meet ~8:45 a.m. at the lower Liberty Cap access point at Wildwood Trailhead, where we will depart at 9 a.m., weather permitting. Parking is limited. Wildwood Trailhead is located near 427 Wildwood Drive on Google Maps. View directions from the National Park Service here.
Click here for detailed hike information -- be sure to allow ~three hours for this out-and-back hike. Afterward, there will be an optional lunch stop for anyone who wants to connect further.  

ALL medical staff are welcome! We will ensure there will be an appropriate distance/pace group for you. No one hikes alone! Feel free to bring a human plus-one, but they are your responsibility. Please note, pets are not allowed because we will be within the boundaries of the Colorado National Monument.

What to bring:
Backpack, at least 1L water, snack, weather-appropriate clothing and layers, sunglasses. Recommend hiking boots or trail shoes. Consider trekking poles. Please check the forecast for snow/ice and bring traction (microspikes, YakTrax, etc.) if you like. (For those who are able, please bring extra microspikes to share, if it is snowy or icy.)
