Changes to St. Mary’s Pap smear orders

Effective March 26, 2024, changes have been made to the Order Inquiry and Collection activities when ordering Pap smears.  

When placing an order for the Cytology, Gynecology [520008] test, the following information now requires an answer in order entry to order the test.

• Reflex to HPV?; If “Regardless” is selected, an additional required question regarding the reflex to Genotypes will appear.

• Last Menstrual Period (LMP); if selecting “Date,” a popup with a place for the date will appear.

• Date of Previous pap.
