Two Good Samaritan physicians receive compliments

Good Samaritan Hospital often receives notes of gratitude from patients and family members, as well as words of recognition from colleagues and associates, about physicians who have provided extraordinary care and service.

A patient and their family sent in a Monarch Award nomination for Daniel Hall, MD: My husband came in through the ER for extreme abdominal pain. This was after days of me begging him to come in. Finally, we got in and were seen. The culprit was an angry gallbladder that needed to be removed. Dr. Hall ended up being our surgeon. My husband was extremely terrified of having surgery. Dr. Hall ordered all tests to make sure everything went according to plan. He was thorough at explaining the procedure beforehand and a huge help in explaining everything to me post-op. He is truly an earth angel and deserving of any recognition.

Alexandria Stringham, MD: A patient who presented to the ED wanted Dr. Stringham and the team that cared for her to know how incredibly grateful she was for the phenomenal care she received.
