West Pines to move in March
In mid-March, West Pines Behavioral Hospital will move its inpatients to the new 144-bed hospital at 11455 Huron St. in Westminster and will cease all operations at its current location on the former Lutheran Medical Center campus.
Local police and municipalities have been informed of the move, and the expectation is there will be minimal or no impact on local communities and traffic. Once the patient transfers are complete, all operational responsibilities will transfer to Acadia Healthcare.
Acadia Healthcare, a national behavioral healthcare provider, will be the managing and operational partner upon opening the new facility and will ensure continued service to the Denver-metro community, providing a holistic approach to healing and recovery from addiction and other behavioral health conditions. The new facility will retain its name, West Pines.
West Pines is currently accepting referrals for its adult 18+ Mental Health Inpatient program.
