Urine fentanyl test now available

Qualitative testing for fentanyl in random urine samples is now available. Qualitative cut-off is 1.0 ng/mL. Positive results should be sent for confirmatory testing, if clinically indicated.

Fentanyl is not included in the Urine Drugs of Abuse Screen panel. It must be ordered separately, when desired.

Testing is for medical evaluation only and cannot be used for legal or employment purposes.

Random urine samples with a pH <4.0 or >11.0 will be reported as “invalid” due to possible adulteration. If this occurs, obtain and submit an unadulterated sample with a new order.
