The Legacy Continues Campaign hits new milestone

Since launching The Legacy Continues Campaign in 2021 – a five-year, $12M comprehensive campaign following a fundraising feasibility study – Lutheran Foundation board members Jennifer Caskey, MD, and Zachary Urban, along with executive director Kathie Repola, are pleased to report that the campaign is now 85 percent to goal.

The Foundation is now actively connecting with our physician and clinical caregivers to seek out partnerships to enhance The Legacy Continues Campaign. Since the hospital’s humble beginnings in 1905, Lutheran has been blessed with support from our community to offer some of the best healthcare in the nation. This is even more important today as the new Lutheran is in its final year of construction.

A next step is to work together with our physician community to rally a “physicians’ sub-campaign.” Building a new replacement hospital not only opens a state-of-the-art facility, it also provides opportunities through naming recognition. There are many naming opportunities currently identified throughout the new hospital and the foundation is open to discuss all possibilities.

The foundation board of directors also has initiated a matching program to catalyze its efforts to fund Lutheran’s highest areas of priority. For gifts of $25,000 or above, the board will match dollar for dollar the donor gift up to $100,000. This provides for a larger naming opportunity at the new replacement hospital – the donation plus the match. The foundation also will honor estate commitments with matching funds. Please reach out to the foundation for additional details.

Gifts of all sizes are encouraged and appreciated! The foundation partners with individual physicians and physician group practices in this campaign and will reach out to discuss the project. Please contact one of the following caregivers to learn more about this opportunity.
