St. Mary’s announces new name, changes to badges and signage

We are thrilled to announce that effective Feb. 15, 2024, St. Mary’s Medical Center will officially start serving our communities as Intermountain Health St. Mary’s Regional Hospital.

This change is more than just a new name; it reflects our evolving brand and vision for the future of healthcare. It represents growth, innovation, and a passion for helping people live their healthiest lives. What will never change is the high-quality care and services you provide here! We are grateful.

Exterior Signs Will Be Updated First

New exterior signage has started to be installed around campus and at clinics in our service area by Grand Junction company Legacy Sign and Neon. Interior signs are not rebranding at this time, and patients may still see two brands during the transition period.

We recognize that change can be exciting and challenging, and we are committed to supporting you throughout this transition. Thank you for reassuring your patients that the renaming does not impact their care, insurance coverage, or billing processes. Of course, if there are questions you can’t answer, escalate them to our Med Staff office.

This is an extraordinary moment in our history, and we are grateful for your partnership on this exciting journey together. Thank you for your continued hard work and dedication to our patients.

New Badges Coming Soon

As we transition to the new Intermountain Health branding, access badges at St. Mary's will get a new look. Badges will be given a face-lift in phases.

Phase 1: all employed physicians/APPs and caregivers:

Employed physicians and APPs should look for an email in their @imail.org account from the “Brand Team (noreply@qemailserver.com).” This email contains a personalized link; click on “Get your new badge” and follow the instructions, which include uploading a new photo. Your form must be completed by Jan. 31, 2024.  If you can't find your email and need a new link, please email us at brand@imail.org

Phase 2: non-employed/affiliated medical staff:

As we get closer to the transition, more details will be shared.  In the meantime, no action is needed on your part. During this transition, your access will not be impacted.

If you have any questions, please reach out to Carol Calacino at carol.calacino@imail.org
