Sepis: When in Doubt, Rule it Out!

The Sepsis BPA prompts caregivers to screen for sepsis in high-risk patients. Early recognition and treatment can stop the progression of sepsis and reduce mortality.

After the nurses complete a screen and lactate, the BPA prompts providers to make a care decision. The BPA will continue to fire every time the chart is opened until an option is selected.

You must select one of the four options below to complete the Sepsis BPA.
