Good Samaritan does good

Good Samaritan Hospital presented $66,000 to local nonprofit groups whose work addresses factors in a person’s ability to live a healthy life.

Through its Doing Good community-benefit grant program, the hospital provides one-year grants of up to $15k to local organizations that focus on economic stability, housing, transportation, safety, parks and playgrounds, education, food insecurity, social engagement or healthcare.

A committee including members of the leadership team and hospital caregivers reviewed this year’s applications and selected the following organizations to receive a grant: A Precious Child, Broomfield FISH, Coal Creek Meals on Wheels, Imagine!, Mental Health Partners, Rise Against Suicide, Sister Carmen Community Center, The Refuge and Via Mobility.

We appreciate the essential work of these partners in health and are proud to assist them in their mission to help all members of this community stay healthy and live their best-possible lives.
