Five physicians nominated for EAGLE Award!

Congratulations to the five Platte Valley physicians nominated for this quarter’s EAGLE Award, which honors physicians recognized as outstanding role models by their peers, as well as patients and family members. The nominees are:

  • Slade Bigelow, DO, Anesthesiology.

  • Christy Chaudhuri, MD, Internal Medicine.

  • Candace Harrod, MD, Emergency Medicine.

  • Chelsea Ratliff, MD, Internal Medicine.

  • Will McNitt, MD, Emergency Medicine.

EAGLE is an acronym for Excellence, Adaptability, Generous Spirit, Leadership and Empathy, and the criteria for consideration for this award includes:

  • Exemplifying the mission, vision and values of Platte Valley Hospital.

  • Consistently maintaining a positive attitude and professionalism.

  • Establishing a connection with other clinicians and caregivers.

  • Demonstrating extraordinary leadership skills.

  • Modeling empathy and a caring attitude toward others.

All physicians are invited to attend the awards ceremony in the Bistro on Tuesday, May 7, at 2:30 p.m. The winner will be announced and all nominees will be recognized. The ceremony will last about 15 minutes.
