February downtime planned for credentialing software
Intermountain Health is expanding CredentialStream, the credentialing software Peaks has been using for four years, enterprise-wide. The Las Vegas market transitioned to CredentialStream in August, and now the Canyons and Desert regions are scheduled to follow in February.
The anticipated go-live date for the enterprise-wide launch of CredentialStream is the morning of Thursday, Feb. 13, but it will require a five-day downtime in Peaks prior to the launch as the Canyons/Desert data is integrated into the system. Therefore, on Friday, Feb. 7, the current CredentialStream software will become read-only in Peaks for five days.
This will have a significant impact. Here’s what you need to know:
If you have an application or reapplication pending at a Peaks hospital, please address any requests for information you have received before Friday, Feb. 7, to avoid any delays in credentialing. You can access your application by clicking here.
Application requests submitted during the downtime, from Feb. 7 through Wednesday, Feb. 12, will be held until after the launch on Feb. 13.
Medical Staff Services will continue working on all applications in progress but will be unable to send them for review and approval. Completing applications will not be possible during the downtime.
Peer Review, OPPE and FPPE activity also will be down during this timeframe.
Please contact your onsite Medical Staff Services office with any questions about the downtime or for a status update with your application.
Thank you for your patience as we continue to streamline our processes enterprise-wide.
