Eleven Lutheran clinicians receive kudos!

Lutheran Medical Center often receives notes of gratitude from patients and family members, as well as words of recognition from colleagues and associates, about physicians and providers who have given extraordinary care and service.

Comments received by Press Ganey surveyors

  • Dr. Taimur Khan called me directly. This made me feel very important. He explained very well what would happen next. Thank you, Dr. Khan.

  • My anesthesiologist, Dr. William Pederson, was phenomenal. He really set me up for success. My surgeon, Dr. Sarah Ellis, was wonderful. Thank you for the wonderful care. I had a great experience!

  • Dr. Ming-Jay Wu was great!

  • My neurologist, Dr. Ray Bogitch, and internist, Dr. Shabnam Khoie, were 10+.

  • Dr. Rebecca Wiebe was great, one of the few doctors I have had who listened and heard what I had to say. I hope to work with her in the future.

  • Dr. Karng Log and Suzi Kawakami, PA, are both amazing! So grateful to have them on my team.

  • Dr. Juhi Asad, along with the other doctors, nurses and staff, made sure that I was comfortable with what was going to happen. They explained the procedure and what to expect afterward at home and answered questions with my family. They made me realize that I have the best team possible for my condition.

  • Pain after surgery was very intense, and the nursing staff and Dr. Michael Johnson took it seriously and helped manage it so I could rest. Thank you for listening and caring.

Dr. Kudos recognition from a nurse manager

I would love to submit a Dr. Kudos request for Dr. Chase Patterson. L&D is so appreciative of Chase's response when help is requested. Chase never hesitates to help another provider or respond to nursing when a concern arises. Night shift in particular has called out how nice it is when Chase is on. They know they will get an appropriate response and he will be pleasant even at 0200.
