“Dr. Mora has been hugely helpful in the transition of hospitalist groups. His consistency, presence, flexibility and adaptability are a great example. He has a great bedside manner and always takes the time to listen to his patients. He builds relationships with the nurses and other staff and is quick to make others laugh and feel at ease. He has eased a lot of anxiety by being here and we appreciate him.”

“Dr. Mora cares for his patients in more ways than most will ever know or get to see. He's generous with his time and knowledge and is always willing to spend an extra minute with his patients to ensure they are comfortable with the care they are receiving. Not only does he take amazing care of his patients, but he's an absolute joy to work with. He's always kind and respectful and always brightens the day!”

“I’ve had the opportunity to work alongside Dr. Mora for years now. Patients speak very highly of his easy-going attitude and knowledge, and it’s no secret whom our team prefers to work with. His bedside manner is calm and reassuring. He takes into consideration nursing judgment and concern with an open mind as long as you have an explanation. He’s there when problems and concerns arise. He’s someone I trust and value both as a physician and a person. He isn’t afraid to speak his mind and will do so with an explanation and give rationale. He’s kind, compassionate, a team player and witty, and he gets the job done. Dr. Mora is more than deserving of this award. Thank you for not only delivering great care to your patients, but for also taking care of your coworkers and making us feel valued and appreciated.”

“Dr. Mora is not only an amazing physician, but he is also great to work with. Dr. Mora has been able to adapt and be successful during the transition to a new provider group with grace. He has continued to work well with the nursing teams to ensure the utmost collaboration in order to get the patients the best care while maintaining the highest level of respect from the interdisciplinary team. He takes time to explain and connect with his patients and their families regardless of why they are in the hospital. His ability to adapt to changes, to teach and not belittle, to collaborate with others and respect every role he interacts with is admirable.”

We congratulate and extend our sincerest thanks to Mora and all of the finalists for the award this quarter.
