EAGLE Award winner announced!

Congratulations to Candace Harrod, MD, Emergency Medicine, for winning Platte Valley’s EAGLE Award for Q2 2024, based on nominations from her colleagues!

The EAGLE, an acronym for Excellence, Adaptability, Generous Spirit, Leadership and Empathy, honors physicians and APPs who are recognized as outstanding role models by other clinicians, caregivers, patients and family members.

Below please find two nominations submitted on Harrod’s behalf for this award.

Candace is a great leader in the Emergency Department. She has developed a great rapport with the entire team, from techs to the docs she supervises. Candace is approachable, friendly and knowledgeable. She readily accepts feedback on the department and keeps staff abreast of the status of said feedback.
