Bedrock 2.0: What You Need to Know About Upcoming Epic Enhancements

A message from Troy Spring, VP, Revenue Service Center (RSC):

A few years ago, we embarked on a journey to enhance our Epic Foundation capabilities the “Project Bedrock” initiative. We have now entered phase two of expansion efforts with “Bedrock 2.0.”

Bedrock 2.0 Project Objective

Bedrock 2.0 aims to enhance three aspects of the Peaks region’s Epic build to drive efficiencies in ordering, charging and streamlining clinical workflows.

What does this mean for me?

Today, nothing in your day-to-day workflow will change. We are targeting a go-live by the end of 2024. More information related to go-live timing and available training/education materials will be shared this fall.

Thank YOU!

The Bedrock Project Team is sponsored by the Revenue Service Center and Digital Technology Services (DTS). We would like to thank everyone who has been involved in this effort. Your dedication and commitment will continue to support our patients with informed decisions related to their personal and financial health.

Questions?

If you have questions prior to go-live related to training and you have access to MyIntermountain, please log a ticket via The Hub under Professional Services > Educational Services. Those without access to the intranet are encouraged to contact their chief medical officer.
