5 Saint Joseph practitioners receive kudos

Every month, the hospital receives notes of gratitude from patients and their loved ones, as well as notes from our own caregivers, about physicians and APPs who were exceptionally supportive and dedicated in their pursuit of clinical excellence. We’re honored to recognize them here.

Christopher Angus, MD: “I felt supported, and he was absolutely correct in the reading of the cat scan results and the urgency of the matter for me to avoid a heart attack. I am fortunate to have Dr. Angus for cardiology care going forward. (Thank you for understanding; the initial news to me and my husband was unexpected.)”

Elijah Edwards, MD: "He is always a supportive and kind colleague, does an outstanding job to support better patient outcomes and always helps with the sickest cases in the emergency department."

Federico Milla, MD: “Thank you for your mastery, kindness and dedication to life-saving care. Your care to explain the procedure, surgical urgency and recovery expectation was helpful to keeping me and my family at ease. My scar has no functional limitations or significant cosmetic concerns - signs of a master, again. Thank you!

Joanna Oomkes, PA: “She is always attentive during patient conversations and is there to make sure we are clear on the details. Thank you for the direct communication and care for the quality of health and life I would have going forward.”

Lynnae Prevo, PA: “She recognized my stress test was abnormal and took charge of getting the information to my PCP and asked to move things along. She didn’t allow days or weeks to pass before having the heart cath scheduled. She followed through, finding a cardiologist to read the report results, sensing this was a time-sensitive matter.”

Thank you to these clinicians and all medical staff members who provide the safest and most-compassionate care to our patients every day.
